Every Business and Residential Telephone Service that uses a traditional phone line will be Discontinued by 2025! Following 12 months of consultations with Digitel and other network service providers, Openreach have finally served notice of changes that will seriously affect all businesses and residential services in the UK. Analogue and ISDN lines will be replaced by VoIP services over broadband.

Digitel Europe Ltd was pleased to host Wirral Chambers' strategic partners meeting with councillor Phil Davies, leader of Wirral Council, on the 5th of January. This event was deliberately kept to a small group of strategic partners which resulted in a better interchange between the seven strategic partners attending. The meeting was chaired by Andy Snell of the Wirral Chamber of Commerce.

The Wirral Chamber of Commerce In Business conference, held on the 29th of March at The Lauries Centre, brought together a number of speakers on the subject of the Liverpool City region's digital infrastructure. One of the speakers was Tom Cullen, managing director of Wirral-based business telecommunications company Digitel. He discussed the effect of Digital Disruption on the changing business environment.
